Key of the Maps

I decided to throw together this key real quick. It'll help to decipher the methods of my spatial madness.

Rain in Lowell Park, Michigan Ave & Grandview Blvd, Waukesha WI

A Hard Rain
After walking for some time, I started to get some painfully repetitive footage. Just when I was thinking of calling it a night, the rain came pouring down very abruptly. We had to make a run for it to a nearby tree and I was a bit on edge at the time, but the footage was wonderful, especially when we got under the tree.

Stroll through Lowell Park

At this point, night had come. The crickets were hard to hear in the harsh, pre-storm winds but this led to some very decent natural ambiance of rustling trees, leaves, grass and a bit of the crickets here and there.

Windsor Pl & Highfield Rd, Waukesha WI

Zippo, Cigarello, Leaves, Twilight
My friend Brad decided that he needed a cigarello while we were walking. The effect worked out really well with the strong wind adding a sound of rustling leaves.

Backyard on Garland Ave, Waukesha WI

The Wind & Chimes.

While sitting on a good friend's back patio, I picked up a spectacular wind which sent a set of nearby chimes singing. No more than fifty meters away was a central air system which gives this recording a strong, low rumbling that provides a decent contrast for the higher pitch of the chimes.

Cascade Drive, Waukesha WI

Sitting on a curb

While sitting on the curb, resting, I picked up an airplane. There was also a car, and a motorcycle, both of which I could not locate visually. Being immersed in suburbia, there was a perpetual hum of air conditioners.
